MonitAir was founded in 2013 and is located in Nijmegen. With a strong team and such experienced partners as Topicus and the University and the Radboud UMC, MonitAir develops an e-Health self-management product for monitoring and predicting exacerbation for COPD patients at home – increasing the quality of life and reducing the burden of disease, along with decreasing the care burden and the cost of care. Studies show that we can predict exacerbations reliably using information from the patient and data concerning measured saturation, lung function and temperature. We have confidence in the further development of this promising product.
